Nowadays, my ideal job would be definitely a crossfit athlete, because they have everything that in this moment I could think about:
they practice my favorite sport every day of the week, they get paid of practicing it and have a lot of sponsors that support them and when you are not practicing your sport you can do whatever you want, the sport is so flexible that you don't get tired of a routine. Also they can eat everything in any moment and they don't get fat and finally, if you are a crossfit international athlete, you can consider yourself as one of the fittest man or woman on earth.
I have the thought that a complete crossfit athlete is able to do anything he or she wants, a crossfit athlete can run hours, climb, lift heavy weights, swim. They are not afraid of getting injured, and if they get, they keep training and pushing until they heal. A crossfit athlete never surrender, and that is one of the things that I love of this sport.
The worst job I could think about in this moment would be any that I'd have to be in an office the whole day receiving instructions and obligations from a superior. I know that maybe it is not far of a possible future reality, but I really think that a job in an office, with a strict schedule, wouldn't be an enjoyable one. I can't stand the fact of not seeing the sunlight or not being able of taking my stuffs and getting away to do something else, and that the only time of 'freedom' would be the lunch time. I don't imagine myself in front of my computer for hours and hours, everyday of the week accomplishing goals.

Manal AlSharif
Manal AlSharif spent some days in jail considering that decision as unfair. Then she started an active movement on social media. Now, she is well known all around the world, as a heroine and a defensor of the women rights in those countries where women can not be free. However, some people in her country still considering her as a traitor, because they have so accepted that women have to be behind the men.
My grandmother is arabian, and until today she complains about male chauvinism in arabian culture, and that is one of the reasons why she didn't maintained those traditions and got married with a Chilean man. I can't imagine how is living in a culture where you can't do whatever you want without a man´s consent.
It's specially sad that in the XXI century we still have cultures like those. So rich in many ways, and so poor in another. However, I believe that it is a process of change that already started, and maybe it seems to be a small step, but step by step we can change the whole world, and make it a much more fair than it is. Now saudi arabian women can drive a car without being discriminated and punished. The next step could be the whole women's freedom.

The Harlequins
Today I'm going to talk about a piece of art that I've always considered an important part of the identity of my house. First of all, let me tell you that it's definitely not my favorite piece of art, however, I think that it is more important than any.
There are some porcelain dolls that my mother painted and designed the clothes. They used to be more with different styles, ones used to have beautifull dresses and hats, but now we only have two dressed as harlequin. I really don't know why we have kept the creeper ones, but after being afraid years of them, I also started to think that they are pretty.
This are the two harlequins that my mother made, (the third one in the picture I really don't know where it came from)
, the green and the gold one. If you see, every detail was handmade. The eyes, the hat, the clothes. With their white skin and red lips they stand out even if they are in the darkest corner of the house.
They used to be in the living room, but now they have their place on the dining room. I think that they will be in my house forever, and they also take care of it.

Dawson Island... a place full of memories
During our lives, we have been
told that the conquer of any place includes the extinction of the habitants of
the territory or the imposition of the new culture by transforming the old ones
into slaves.
The situation in Dawson’s Island
was not very different to the rest of the story of our country. The story of
Dawson’s Island is full of selknam's blood and impositions of the colonial
people.
In my opinion the documental was
full of critics, but also full of feelings of the people that suffered the fact
of being political prisoners just for the reasons of being part of Allende’s
government.
I didn't live in that period of
the history so I think that I'm not the person with the rights to tell which
government was the right or the wrong. However I can say, with all the rights
that being a human concerns me, that nobody has the enough power or superiority
of taking anyone from their places as a prisoner without any reason. Besides, I
believe that the period of the history of Chile was important and the people
have the right to visit and know what happened in that place, so nobody can
prohibit to Chilean people to visit a place as important as Dawson’s Island. We
can let the past in the past, but the memories in the territory will remain.
